Application Areas
Emulsion Polymerization
Octyl Phenol Ethoxylates (Pharcos OP) and Ceteareth variants are used as primary surfactants in emulsion polymerization. Pharcos OP 10 and OP 30 are standard grades for controlling particle size and latex stability.
Wetting Agents
Iso-Tridecyl Alcohol Ethoxylates (Pharcos TA) provide excellent pigment wetting and deflocculation. Lower foam profiles compared to NPEs make them ideal for roller and spray application systems.
Latex Stabilization
Stearyl Alcohol Ethoxylates (Pharcos S) and Ceteareth ethoxylates provide post-polymerization stability, preventing coagulation during storage and freeze-thaw cycling.
Pigment Dispersion
Pharcos offers a range of dispersants like Styrenated Phenols (Pharcos SP) and wetting agents for pigment dispersion in paint and coating formulations. Our products provide excellent pigment wetting and deflocculation, with lower foam profiles compared to NPEs.
