Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate (Powder)
Pharcos NaLS 95
Also known as: Sarcosine, N-lauroyl-, sodium salt | N-Lauroylsarcosine sodium salt powder
Pharcos NaLS 95 is the rare, solid-state form of the elite amino-acid surfactant Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate. While standard Sarcosinate is supplied as a 30% liquid (mostly water), this 95% active powder allows formulators to create 100% water-free products. As the 'waterless beauty' trend explodes to reduce packaging waste, this mild, highly foaming, sulfate-free powder is the critical cleansing engine behind luxury shampoo bars, concentrated face-wash powders, and high-end SLS-free oral care products.

How It Works
Maximum active concentration without water weight.
In a liquid body wash, water is used to separate the massive 30% surfactant micelles. In a solid shampoo bar or powder cleanser, the introduction of water would dissolve the product back into a liquid paste. The 95% pure NaLS powder remains a dry, free-flowing solid until the consumer steps into the shower and adds water themselves. The instant it hits the shower water, the massive concentration of pure amino-acid surfactant violently hydrates, generating a massive explosion of dense, creamy lather.
Technical Information
Common questions about Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate (Powder)
No. Drying surfactants requires highly specialized industrial spray-drying equipment. Attempting to boil off the water from a 30% liquid will result in a scorched, burnt, unusable chemical sludge.
